Hi Sweets!

I find so much inspiration from the blogs I read daily…from clothes to organization tips I find it all. One thing I don't find that much is how to wear workwear, or dressing for work. I am going into the health profession (hopefully) so somedays I will wear scrubs but other days I will be dressing professionally. There are some professions, such as a person in pharmacy school, that are limited to only wearing gray and black suits with light pink and blue undershirts…this screams boredom. I decided to do some research to find some pieces that would work for the employee who is entering a more conservative workplace but also pieces that work for any working woman!

I think it is vital that you style your workwear to your own style. I love color, so I would wear a nice suit with a printed or colored shirt and accessorize with a bold statement necklace (Bauble Bar and Prima Donna are great). The shoe is imperative because it must be comfortable enough to move in but stylish at the same time. I love Banana Republic shoes and Piperlime, they are expensive but you may have to pay a high price for comfort…this is one area you should splurge in! I think workwear is overlooked and many people stay true to classic black, grey, and navy colors but adding color to your wardrobe can improve your mood and enhance your confidence…trust me!
