We all like Instagram, well, I like Instagram. There are fun ways to edit your photos on Instagram to make them look cleaner, brighter, and too attract a larger audience. Let's talk about how you take a good picture with Instagram first.

Lighting is always key. You need natural, bright light when taking photos. I recommend to always take the photos with your phone camera first, never through the app. For some reason the pictures always look better. Here is a plain photo I took with my phone with the natural light. Also, I like to use the "square" option when taking photos on my iPhone because then I won't cut out any of the photo when I upload it to Instagram.



I like to brighten my photo even more by selecting the tools option and going to "brightness" on the Instagram app. Only sometimes will I use filters but I think bright, visible photos are the best ones.


I will generally just post photos to Instagram using the process above, but sometimes when I'm feeling extra glittery I will use PicLab…which is free in the app store!
