Most of you know my love for nail polish extends well past borderline obsessive. I have over $250 worth of nail polish…that's a problem. Anyways, I recently came across this cute, mini package of Essie Matte polish at Ulta and I obviously had to have it. I have never tried matte polish so I knew I was in for a treat:). 

This polish is really nice, I used two thin coats on each hand and foot (it dries pretty quick!) and then I did top it with a thin layer of Gel Setter. I have to use a top coat otherwise the next day all of my nails are chipped. I am constantly cleaning, washing my hands, moving things, etc., therefore polish won't stay on unless a top coat is applied. I still think my nails have a matte look with top coat just not "as matte."
