Quick & Easy 5 Ingredient Meatballs

3:00:00 AM

One thing I'm pretty good at (according to Adam's stomach) is making meatballs. About a year ago I wanted to try something different but I couldn't find just one recipe to follow. I was looking for something easy and fairly quick that would work with our schedules. I searched recipes for days and found 5 ingredients that have passed the test. These are the best meatballs (if prepared correctly), and they don't take much time at all!
What you will need:
1. Ground beef OR ground turkey
2. One egg
3. 1 cup of parmesan cheese
4. Ketchup
5. Seasonings of your choice. (I group these together but I use whatever I have on hand)

1 // Mix your meat with the egg and cheese. Fold in well.
2 // I don't measure the ketchup, as you can see I went back and forth in a zig-zag motion twice. This was plenty.
3 // Add all the seasonings: chopped onion (use real if you can, I was out), parsley, pepper, garlic, and some basil.
4 // Next, role into balls and place in your pan about 2 inches apart.
**Cook on medium about 3 minutes each "side"**
What I mean is, roll them one way and let sit for 3 minutes roll to another uncooked part for another 3 minutes, and once again for another 3 minutes.
5 // Then add your sauce (I use a full jar) and turn to low and let simmer for about 5-10 minutes. By this time, most of my meatballs are done…I am just waiting on the noodles!
I apologize for the picture quality. I had to take these after puppy class…it gets so dark so early!! I cannot wait for daylight savings time.
