It's that time of year where I am throwing on hats, mittens, scarves, socks, boots, and every sweater in sight. I am always drawn to oversized sweaters, cozy boot socks, and super-soft long sleeve t-shirts. These are the perfect pieces for layering. My look below might not be the most "fashion forward" look you will see on here, but it's practical! It just doesn't make sense to be wearing heels, skirts, or light tops in this kind of weather. 

I recently purchased this Banana Republic long sleeve tee and I am obsessed. I'll admit, I wore it all weekend. I wore it under chunky sweaters, tucked under my pajama shirts, and just by itself...I'm telling you, it's that comfy! 

Besides wearing this tee a gross amount of times, the weather has been a hit and miss lately. However, we found time this weekend to bundle up and explore the snow. There really is nothing I love more than being outside in this weather (well, maybe inside snuggled on the couch). It may be cold, but it is so peaceful when it snows...people stop driving places, things get quiet, and things slow down. Something I think is good for everyone. It gives us a chance to re-energize and re-coup. Snow days are a good thing in my book!
