I've mentioned it before, but I find transitioning season to season difficult sometimes. I look for pieces that can easily be layered or are fine on their own...like this top. Unlike a normal blouse, the material is much heavier and it's easy to layer but warm enough for the spring weather. This look is one of my go-to's for spring; tunic, skinny jeans, and open-toe booties.

On another note, I got home from work yesterday and Adam had put together the sweetest thing! He has six more days of spring break so on his desk he laid out six envelopes. I had to guess letters to see what we was in the envelope! Last night we went on a date to Barnes & Noble. He knew I have had close to 10 books in my Amazon shopping cart so we both went and picked some out.
I've realized in our relationship that sometimes, things can get very difficult. Schedules overlap, we are both undoubtedly stressed with work and school, and the stressors of life take a toll. It's little things like "surprise date-night envelopes" that help us appreciate the little things in life. Although we would love to take tropical vacations and buy each other fancy gifts, our B&N date was even better!
