Spring Then & Now - Tay Meets World

Spring Then & Now

12:00:00 AM

Some trends come and go, some never die. I like to find pieces that are timeless, that I can easily wear over and over, season after season. There are certain pieces that, in my opinion, will never go out of style. Gingham, plaid, tutu's, trench coats, florals, stripes, chambray, and the list goes on. These are items that I wore last spring...and while they may be slightly different this season, but they are still in style. I have rounded up some spring inspiration for both you and me. Sometimes it's fun to look back at what you wore, to see your style evolve, and how you've changed over the years.

Patterned Skirts: One of my favorite pieces for spring is a patterned skirt. Whether it's a floral pattern, plaid, etc., patterns are a great way to add flare and spunk to your spring wardrobe.

Spring Neutrals: Although you can never go wrong with color, neutrals are great for the spring and will never go out of style. Especially a classic lace or stripe top.
Pastels: My favorite thing for spring? Pastels! Mint green, blush pink, baby blue, and the list goes on.
Chambray: This is obviously one piece that will never cease to go out of style (in my opinion). When in doubt, put on a chambray top. It pairs well with everything and can be easily dressed up or down.
Midi Skirts: Whether it's a tutu or bright midi skirt...these will certainly make a statement for spring.
Button-Downs/Spring Brights: Who doesn't love gingham? Especially magenta gingham. Just as well, my new linen shirt comes in many brightly colored hues...it makes for the perfect spring statement.
I love looking back at previous posts and seeing just how far this little blog has come. How fun would it be to turn some posts into a photo book? I love these Social Print Studio options...I am also thinking this mini one would be great for Instagram photos, gifts for Mother's Day (mom's love sentimental gifts), or graduation gifts!
