Monochromatic Greys & Pop Of Pink

12:00:00 AM

The temperatures are getting a lot cooler here in the midwest. Over the weekend, we averaged 30's-40's! I finally pulled out all my winter clothes and started shopping for this season best cold-weather looks. Luckily, with all the sales I have come across some great finds! I frequently shop at T.J Maxx, I love how they carry high-quality brands at a very low-quality price. The sweater below is Free People! I picked it up for $40 and I'm so glad I did - not only is it ultra cozy but I love that it's loose so I can layer a long sleeve underneath and throw it on for running errands.
J.Crew: Ribbed-Hat With Pom Pom // Free People: Sweater // Nordstrom Rack Denim, similar // Ugg Boots, last season, love these!

I love monochromatic looks, with a bold pop of color of course. It is rare you will ever find me in all neutrals or black. My love for all things bright and colorful is too strong. J.Crew, Gap, Old Navy, Banana, and The Loft all have great colorful pieces this season. Pick up something bright to add to your wardrobe and defeat those winter blues!

On another note, I got a rude awakening this week in regards to exercise. I have always been one who runs and then comes home to do some ab exercises. Well, this week is "bring a friend" week at the fitness center a couple of my girlfriends go to. I have worked just about ever muscle in my body and I am feeling it (as I can barely move while laying on the couch)! I'm in a bit of a shock because I didn't think I was in terrible shape - turns out I was wrong. I will say though that lifting, strength training and more cardio have been a huge benefit body wise and easy way for me to de-stress after work. If you have any classes you go to or people you follow for workouts comment below! I am looking to add more and learn more and could use all the help (and muscles) I can get :).
