Day At The Eiffel Tower - Tay Meets World

Day At The Eiffel Tower

5:20:00 PM

Bonjour! It's day three for us in Paris and I cannot tell you how much I am in love with this city. They say it's the city of love and oh how true that is. I have fallen in love with the culture, architecture, food, landscapes, and of course, the coffee. We started the week visiting the Eiffel Tower, a tourist must-see. We wandered around until we found the most stunning views and we just decided to take it all in. I'm sure it's like seeing the statue of Liberty for the first time (which I have yet to see) or Mount Rushmore. When you've only seen photos your entire life of monuments or far away places, once you are there, it's quite surreal.

There are so many places to view the Eiffel Tower in all its glory rather than the Champ de Mars. I'm putting together a compiled list of all the best and way less crowded areas to take photos and take in the scenery. We started the day early, around 7:00am, and there weren't crowds or lines anywhere. We've found that most people are too tired from the day before so they sleep in a bit:).

As far as my outfits, the first two days in Paris were HOT. 90 degrees and 80% humidity. I was so thankful that I brought lightweight dresses and skirts, including this scalloped one from Banana Republic. I love this dress. Not only is it incredibly comfortable but I stayed relatively cool and I fell in love with it even more against the Parisian backdrop. It's currently on sale for $60 - so worth the price!!
