I can't tell you how excited I am for fall. I have always been partial to cooler (and colder) weather; I live for oversized sweaters, wool jackets, and plaid scarves. Some stores are finally starting to release their fall lines. Each fall, I re-assess my wardrobe and determine what type of pieces I'm missing and/or what colors I could add. I stopped into J.Crew the other day (only to spend way too much) and fell in love with this linen tie-up sweater. It's perfect for transitioning into fall. I paired it with toothpick cargo pants that are not only incredibly comfortable but also very versatile. I paired the two with last season booties and wallah, the perfect "transition to fall" outfit.

For sizing reference, the cargo pants fit TTS. I purchased a medium in the sweater because they were out of smalls. It's a more oversized look but I was going for that look. There are so many cute bootie options this year but mine from last year still work great. I have linked other affordable options below!
