Neutrals & Pink

It's no secret that I love pink...a light, dusty rose, blush kind of pink. It compliments the pink undertones in my skin and contrasts with my brunette hair - it's my favorite color and one I'm always drawn to when shopping. It's no surprise that on my mom's trip to Italy, she brought be back this blush pink Burberry look-a-like scarf (real one here). While you may think that pastels only work in the spring, I actually like dawning them in the winter months too. The trees are bare and the ground is brown - pink is the perfect pop of color!

You won't find me too often in neutral tones, I simply love color too much, however, I couldn't resist picking up this taupe colored Italian Pointelle crew sweater. Banana was having an extra 30-40% off their sweaters so I picked this one up along with this silk cashmere one. 😍 These sweaters are what I like to call, broke gal's cashmere! They are incredibly soft, comfy, and budget-friendly.

I always size up in these sweaters for a loose fit (it makes them even more comfortable) and most are machine washable. Banana wins, hands-down, for the best everyday basics at great price points and good quality.
