DIY Coffee Cart

3:00:00 AM

If you don't already know, I am a huge coffee lover (as is Adam). We have two kinds of coffee machines and love waking up to a fresh cup of joe. Our kitchen space is very limited and I had yet to decorate the bar cart. (I had visions of Summit knocking into it and all my Kate Spade champagne flutes breaking!) I decided what better way to utilize our kitchen nook then with a coffee cart!

The cart is very basic for now, as I will be added pieces and essentials (like stir sticks) as we go. We have our coffee machines, coffee, a couple of mugs, and napkins! I wanted to keep it simple because Summit still gets into everything, but also functional. We are still trying to navigate city living and that means trying new things when it comes to decorating!

I also found two free printables online that are the cutest! I recycled some old frames and printed the prints at home, ta-da! They add that extra teaspoon of sweet to our nook that needed some TLC.

I am finding that this home is a work in progress and I don't think I will ever splurge on any big pieces just yet because it's not our "home." We know that living here is temporary and I haven't found much motivation to decorate it. I am hoping that in a year or two we can be settled in one city, with a home that I can decorate top to bottom! In the meantime…say hello to the coffee cart.

Do you have a bar cart? If so, how do you decorate it?
