Pink In Montemartre, Paris - Tay Meets World

Pink In Montemartre, Paris

9:12:00 AM

During our stay in Paris we tried to see as many different places as we could. Although that came with extremely sore feet and exhaustion, it was so worth it! My sister and I went to Montmarte twice because we loved it so much. This area, in the right bank, is coined "the artisan area." The whole place is filled with colorful buildings, sidewalk chalk colored staircases, one-of-a-kind boutiques, and the yummiest places to eat. You'll find that to get to most places you have to climb stairs...a lot of stairs. Don't fret, there is a tram you can take on the way up but my recommendation is to let those calves burn because you'll get to see so much more.
Le Maison Rose has been on my must-see list for a couple of years now. It has crossed Instagram and each time I scroll through a photo, my heart would ache to visit. Well, luckily for me this place was a stop on our list. Only two staircases and a left turn from the tram and you will see this quaint little cafe. Although it was closed, my sister and I still wandered the area and took a bunch of photos. This area is like a scene from a movie - so charming!!
Note: I will be putting together travel guides for each area so you can see how to get there, where to eat, where to shop, etc.!

It was so hot the first few days in Paris - we planned for mild weather but thankfully both packed enough lightweight clothes so we weren't too hot. By now, my feet have adjusted to all the walking but for awhile the pain was unbearable. My favorite pair of shoes to wear were my M.Gemi loafers. I decided I will be getting them in every color because of how comfortable they are.

Traveller Tip: If you are going to be doing a lot of walking on your trip, wear shoes that you have already broken in and rotate different pairs each day! It will significantly help if you have certain pain points.

We finally have had a little bit of wifi! I love taking time to disconnect but there are just some times when wifi comes in handy - it's crazy how used to being connected to everything and everyone you can get!

We are on a train to Brussels for the next part of our trip - make sure to follow on Instagram so you don't miss anything!
