I am so bummed! This past week, fall started creeping in. I switched out most of my summer clothes with my fall and I started preparing to make apple pie and drink all the fall lattes that Starbucks brings back. However, this week's forecast shows everyday in the 90's!! I am a definite fall and winter gal so this hot weather has me hibernating until the cold comes out! I suppose this adorable plaid shirt will have to stay in my closet until the heat wave passes, but I am glad I got some wear out of it, as it is just too cute not to wear.

One of my favorite things about fall is layering and wearing comfy plaid shirts, chunky sweaters, large tunics, and booties. Here in the midwest, all of these of necessary to sustain the cold weather that we get! Just as well, plaid shirts are so easy to wear! There is not a whole lot of thought that goes into putting on a plaid shirt and skinny jeans…it's easy to wear and oh-so-comfy!

Another thing, I have been so impressed with the Nordstrom Rack here in Des Moines! I can literally spend an hour in there and mosey my way throughout the jewelry, clothes, shoes, and handbags. I have been finding a lot of reasonably priced fall clothes so if your closet needs a pick me up, I suggest heading there!
