With Valentine's Day just around the corner I have searching for a fun date night get-up. Everything I found was not applicable to the type of weather we have in Iowa right now. I opted for my sleek pair of Express scuba leggings and went from there. I ultimately knew that I wanted a fun pair of shoes...not only to wear on Valentines Day but to add to my growing high heel collection. Thankfully, DSW is having a great sale right now and my shoes were 50% off! The fact that they are pink made the sale even sweeter and I knew they would look great for the upcoming holiday. 

One staple piece that every gal should have in her closet is a fabulous white button down. The style I am donning is a "boyfriend" fit; thus it's longer and more baggy. I love that it's long enough to pair with leggings but not too long to be termed as a tunic. This is a great basic top for all occasions when you just don't know what to wear...case and point!

What do you think of the new-do? I am rapping the Lob...it's definitely a shock how short it is!
