Tis the season for sweaters! Last weekend was beautiful, not too warm, and not too cold so I pulled out a light sweater and flippy skirt (which is only $14 in store). One thing that I love about getting older, is a more refined style. When I was younger, I always knew what I wanted to dress like. Even in college I would read fashion blogs and drool over the beautiful outfits the bloggers would put together hoping that someday I could afford their expensive and timeless pieces.

 Well, on a strict budget, I am able to manage a style that is versatile and grown-up and just as timeless as those outfits I have always dreamed of having. I love sharing pieces that I have found that are below $20, and how you can wear them multiple ways (for instance, I wore this poncho to work today…it looked amazing!). This outfit being one of them…the skirt was on major clearance and the sweater 40%! If you are in need of winter pieces, now is the time to stock up. There are a bunch of fall layering pieces that will work great during the winter months.
