Favorite Gifts of 2019 - Review

9:47:00 AM

Bloggers are always publishing gift guides, I thought it would be fun this year if I posted what my favorite gifts received were - sort of a product review if you will. I like to post gifts of this that I have actually used or tried - in my opinion that's the only way to recommend something!
I must preface with, I come from a family of good gifters. It's also part of my love language to give gifts; I'm always searching for ones that are incredibly special or a gift that he/she wouldn't normally buy themselves. I digress, here are my top favorite gifts of 2019!

1. Oversized Cashmere Wrap: I mentioned previously that my mother brought her cashmere wrap with her on our trip to Europe this past fall. I was consistently trying to snatch it because it was so incredibly soft. Lucky for me, I was gifted one (that's monogrammed) this holiday season. Ya'll - I didn't think I was missing much not jumping on the cashmere train - wrong! I'm in no way saying we need to buy all the cashmere but I would seriously consider putting this on your next holiday wishlist. I have wrapped my wrap around me nearly everyday since and then I lay it over my bed at night...it's so good!
**The one I have is currently 25% off

2. De'Longhi Nespresso Latissma Touch Espresso Maker - I was spending so much money on coffee this year. With all the travel I was doing and Starbucks being 0.5 miles down the road, my addiction was real. I knew I needed a coffee machine that would create a latte, macchiato, cappuccino, or regular coffee so the search began. I almost hit the jackpot in Europe (Nespresso is so inexpensive there) where they were running a promotion for $1 coffee machines and monthly subscription to coffee for $40. Caveat was the coffee had to be shipped to a European address...who do I know in Europe....? Ha! Thankfully, Williams & Sonoma was running a major sale and this became my Christmas present! I love it - if your interested, I can do a coffee machine review to go over my favorite aspects! Ultimately, I cut way back on going to Starbucks (I still love it though) and I'm enjoying freshly brewed cafe lattes in the comfort of my home😊.

3. Yeti 26oz tumbler - I have the 12oz Yeti but my was gifted a larger one and I'm obsessed! I have been much better at drinking more and it's even become one of my goals for the year.

4. Athleta Crew - If you haven't jumped on the Athleta train, you are missing out! Like Lulu, they have incredibly soft fabrics and in my opinion, more options to choose from. I run daily with my pup and then walk her again in the evening so I'm always in workout attire. I like to have pieces that are transitional from day to workout and vice versa. This is also one of my favorite pieces, it's so soft!

5. Rachel Hollis 'Girl, Stop Apologizing!' book - Rachel Hollis has become an incredible motivator in my life. I just picked up her planner and journal from Target to start the year of organized and determined. I dream big, I always have and her company and her books are a helpful resource to setting you up for success in achieving those goals.

6. Artis Elite 3-Piece Makeup Brush Set - Oh my gracious. These are the queen bee of makeup brushes. I was shooketh the first time I used them. Definitely not something I would've purchased myself but I plan on doing a review for them here as they are wonderful.

7. Jo Malone Candle - I take pride in my home smelling inviting (and clean) so I go through Bath & Body Works candles as much as the next girl. I have a Jo Malone candle in my room however and it smells so luxe. I like my bedroom to be serene and comfortable as I have a hard time winding down at the end of the night so this candle scent has made my bed even more inviting!

8. Anthropology '12 Days of Christmas' plates - Years ago, my mom purchased this 12 Days of Christmas holiday dishwater set at Potterybarn. The plates, ornaments, and serving ware are simply gorgeous and go well with her style. My style, is a bit more vibrant and we have been hunting for something that is similar since then that I could add to my collection and eventually pass down to my (hopeful) future child someday. These plates took the cake, they are adorable! It's not an entire collection but the colors are perfect and easily transferrable if I decide to change my holiday theme.
**Sold out, here is something similar

9. J.Crew Pajamas - Every year, Santa brings us pajamas 😉. I was so glad to see this J.Crew pair under the tree - again, I've worn many times since Christmas and the quality is amazing! If you need a great pair of flannel pj's I cannot recommend these enough!
**Extra 40% off!

10. Lo & Sons O.G bag - I know, I know, I've talked about this bag many times. I purchased one 1-2 years ago that was purple because it was the only color on sale😂. I was gifted a black one this year (much more conducive for work) before Europe and again, still love it. If you travel, you need this bag. End of story.
